MDL Exposed: Part One
Members of the MDL (‘Muslim Defence League’), have been accused of harassing a number of young Muslim girls. The harassment came to light when a gang of the senior members attacked a female member of MPACUK.
Since this information has been come to light, two other girls have come forward and said that they too have had similar experiences. It does not end there; they have been accused of secretly sending threats of violence to Muslims who they disagree with.
When MPACUK confronted them about the allegations, they went in to into damage control and at first denied the allegation completely. When more evidence was brought forward of their attacks on Muslims they took to insults.
MPACUK requested that an investigation be carried out by the organisation and remedial action taken, however this turned into a farcical sequence of events.
A senior member of the group took to investigating the allegations against his own organisation, but what he claims to have investigated, was not what MPACUK had requested. So he investigated allegations which the MDL member had made up himself, about his own organisation. He then claimed he found no evidence to substantiate the self made allegations, thus giving MDL a clean bill of health!
The world’s most corrupt police forces could take lessons from the young chap. All very funny, except for the young men and women who this group has threatened, sexually harassed and intimidated. The group promotes itself as a force that defends the Muslim community from the EDL (The English Defence League), however its recent activities highlight it preys on the Muslim community much like the EDL do, but more covertly.
It’s widespread support would soon be in tatters if the Muslim community found out how its members had behaved. We at MPACUK urge the membership of that group and those that support it, to apply pressure on the leadership of that group to change its direction and act within the law and within decent moral values of Islam. We appeal to the supporters of this group to request the leaders of the group stop all intimidation of young sisters and completely stop their violent threats against other Muslims.
The abuse the sisters have endured, as well as the cyber bullying that MPACUK members have faced, has all been reported to the police, as well as to the social networking sites Facebook and Twitter, with evidence; we would urge all our readers to do the same.
If you have had an encounter with the MDL then please email us with your story, so that we can gauge how wide this abuse of Muslims is.
