Small Heath robbers eyed up potential victims in the street before attacking, court told

A gang of robbers who hunted victims in Yardley “like a pack of animals” have been caged for their actions.
Wasim Akram, aged 20, and a group of six youths could be seen in CCTV footage eyeing up passers-by near the Yew Tree Island before selecting their victims and pouncing.
They jumped on two victims within ten minutes of each other, in both cases following their prey for several minutes before flooring them with a flurry of punches.
One of those attacked, a 25-year-old, suffers with a heart condition, was robbed of his bike after the gang, the youngest of who was 14, swarmed around him.
After releasing CCTV footage of the attacks which took place on July 31 last year, members of the public identified five of the group, including Akram at his St Benedicts Road home in Small Heath.
A further two, a 14 and 15-year-old, later handed themselves in to police.
Investigating officer detective constable Emma Shakespeare, from Stechford CID, said: “They scoured the area looking for victims – people out alone who they deemed easy prey – and then acted together to commit robbery.
“The judge said they acted like ‘a pack of animals’ and, given that they kicked both victims as they lay on the ground, added they were fortunate not to be facing a murder charge.
“Thankfully neither victim was seriously hurt and, although these were nasty incidents, we’ve seen a significant drop in the number of robberies in east Birmingham – down by more than 15 per cent this year compared to last year.
“Together they have been detained in a youth offending institute for a total of 17-and-a-half years. I’d like to thank the public for their fantastic response to our appeal for information and helping ensure the offenders faced justice.”
Akram, was jailed for four years after admitting two counts of robbery at Birmingham Crown Court on Thursday .
Four teens, aged 18, 16, 16 and 15, who also pleaded guilty to the robberies, were sent to a youth offenders institute for periods between four and three years.
A boy of 15 was sentenced to 18 months youth detention while the 14 year old received a 12 month youth rehabilitation order after they admitted one charge of robbery.

A British journalist was brutally sexually assaulted in Cairo’s Tahrir Square as thousands of Egyptians gathered to celebrate the nation’s presidential election results.
Natasha Smith, 21, has detailed how she was violently attacked by a ‘group of animals’ who stripped her naked, scratched and clenched her breasts and ‘forced their fingers inside her’.
She only escaped by donning men’s clothes and a burka and being whisked away to safety by two other men.
Assaulted: Natasha Smith has written about her horrific ordeal in Tahrir Square on her blog

Mixed: Tahrir Square was a scene of celebration, but also of a horror, as Natasha Smith was assaulted
Brutal: Smith was attacked as thousands celebrated the victory of the Muslim Brotherhood’s candidate as the new president
Writing on her blog, she said: ‘All I could see was leering faces, more and more faces sneering and jeering as I was tossed around like fresh meat among starving lions.’
The incident occured on Sunday when Egyptians flooded the area celebrating the announcement Mohammed Morsi would be the nation’s first democratically elected leader.
Smith, who will graduate with an MA in International Journalism from University College Falmouth in August, was in Tahrir to film the crowd for a documentary on women’s rights.
But the initial ‘atmosphere of jubilation, excitement, and happiness’, quickly turned against her.
She said: ‘Just as I realised I had reached the end of the bridge, I noticed the crowd became thicker, and decided immediately to turn around to avoid Tahrir Square.
‘My friends and I tried to leave. I tried to put my camera back in my rucksack. But in a split second, everything changed.
Accidental leader: Mohammed Morsi waves to the crowd during a presidential campaign rally

Rammed: Tahrir Square has become a focus point for the Arab Spring
‘Men had been groping me for a while, but suddenly, something shifted. I found myself being dragged from my male friend, groped all over, with increasing force and aggression.
‘I screamed. I could see what was happening and I saw that I was powerless to stop it. I couldn’t believe I had got into this situation.’
The former Weymouth College and University of Nottingham student said she was then stripped naked and assaulted.
Attacked: CBS reporter Lara Logan moments before she was assaulted in February 2011
She wrote: ‘I began to think, ‘maybe this is just it. Maybe this is how I go, how I die. I’ve had a good life. Whether I live or die, this will all be over soon.’
A friend eventually reached her and managed to guide her to a medical tent. Local women helped protect her as she put on the burka and clothes.
She said: ‘The men outside remained thirsty for blood; their prey had been cruelly snatched from their grasp.
‘They peered in, so I had to duck down and hide. They attempted to attack the tent, and those inside began making a barricade out of chairs. They wanted my blood.’
She then escaped by posing as a stranger’s wife and walking out hand-in-hand with the man.
She added: ‘The women told me the attack was motivated by rumours spread by trouble-making thugs that I was a foreign spy.
‘But if that was the cause, it was only really used as a pretext, an excuse, to molest and violate a blonde young Western girl.’
Smith is not the first western woman to be assaulted while working in Egypt. CBS News’ Lara Logan was attacked during the 2011 revolution. She said ‘men in the crowd had raped me with their hands’.
Egyptian journalist Mona Eltahawy was also assaulted by Egyptian security forces in November.
And Smith has vowed that the abuse would not stop her from exposing the wider issue of sexual assault in the country.
Broken and battered: Mona Tahawy was brutally assaulted last year
She said: ‘I will overcome this and come back stronger and wiser. My documentary will be fuelled by my passion to help make people aware of just how serious this issue is.
‘It’s not just a passing news story that briefly gets people’s attention then is forgotten. This is a consistent trend and it has to stop.
‘Arab women, western women – there are so many sufferers.’

Nine white men are found guilty of grooming young Asian girls, aged between 13 and 15, whom they picked up on the streets of London. The girls were lured with free fish and chips before being raped or pimped as prostitutes. One Asian girl from a children’s home was used for sex by 20 white men in one night. Police insist the crimes were not “racially motivated”.
Imagine if that story were true. Would you really believe that race was not a factor in those hateful crimes? Do you think that, despite conclusive DNA evidence from a girl raped by two men, the police would have hesitated to press charges because the suspects were white and it could make things a bit sensitive in the white community? Would the Crown Prosecution Service have refused to prosecute, allowing the child-sex ring to flourish for three more anguished years?
OK, now let’s try switching the ethnic identities round. Change the fish and chips to kebabs, London to Rochdale, white to Asian and vice versa and you have the case that ended yesterday at Liverpool Crown Court. Nine British Muslim men were jailed for a total of 77 years for rape and trafficking within the UK for sexual exploitation. The whole case made for disturbing reading, but somehow it was the tiny, paralysing details that made it real. Like the fact that one of the convicted men, father-of-five Abdul Rauf, was a religious studies teacher at a local mosque. Rauf asked his 15-year-old victim if she had any younger friends, and drove some of the girls to meet other men, who had sex with them despite knowing they were under-age.
You will already have noticed a lot of embarrassed evasiveness about this disgusting case, particularly on the BBC. Turning a blind eye to appalling, illegal practices because “it’s their culture” is what has brought our country to this obscene pass. I have watched it unfolding since I did my teaching practice in 1982 in Southall, west London. I remember being encouraged to “teach the children their own culture” even as I found myself wondering why British Muslim girls couldn’t be taught the enlightened beliefs of the egalitarian land in which they lived.
When it comes to women’s rights, not all cultures are created equal, particularly those whose attitudes are frozen some time in the mid‑14th century. But we weren’t allowed to say that. Actually, we weren’t even allowed to think that. If you inhaled enough toleration of the intolerable, then you were well on your way to the opium of political correctness.
All those years ago in the classroom, it was clear to me how dangerous it would be if we didn’t insist that newcomers signed up to our social norms. What was going to happen if we were nervous of offending them, not the other way around? This week, over Liverpool, the sky was dark not with rain clouds but with chickens coming home to roost.
Rochdale girls who were living in what is imaginatively known as “care” were recruited into sexual factory farming by Muslim men described as “pure evil” by detectives. The 59-year-old ringleader was banned from court for calling the judge a “racist bastard”. His barrister explained that his client “had objected from the start to being tried by an all-white jury. He believes his convictions have nothing to do with justice but result from the faith and race of the defendants.” In other words, a racist who treats poor white girls as sub-human seriously believes it is he who is the victim of racism, when he is called to account for organising the gang-rape of under-age females. To be fair, it takes 40 years of well-intentioned multiculturalism to achieve that kind of moral mess.
The layers of denial run so deep that it’s important to try to be clear where we can. First, it is an insult to Hindus, Sikhs and decent, integrated Muslims to classify those brutes under the catch-all title of “Asian males”. All but one are Pakistani Muslims who come from a patriarchal peasant culture that obviously regards young white British girls as easy meat. Those children were considered fair game for degrading sexual acts on an almost industrial scale. The men took a calculated gamble that no one gave a damn about the girls. And you know the worst thing? They were right.
The number of adolescents “passed around” like a congenial hookah pipe by the gang is believed to be more than 50. There were 631 documented cases of abuse over a five-year period, and many will have been too afraid to tell their story. Some may not even be alive to tell it. We will never know the full extent of their pain.
Nazir Afzal, Chief Crown Prosecutor for North West England, who at least had the guts to bring the case to court after social workers and the police turned away for fear of being seen as racist, admitted that “imported cultural baggage” played a role in the crimes. That’s the same baggage that brought quaint customs like forced marriages, honour killing and female genital mutilation to these isles.
Crucially, Mr Afzal says that what defined the convicted men was their attitude to the opposite sex. “They think that women are some lesser beings. The availability of vulnerable young white girls is what has drawn men to them… These girls were on the streets at midnight. It made them easy prey for evil men.”
So the case turns out to be a tale of two cultures. On the one hand, we have white girls, raised in a godless, under-parented, over-sexualised society, who have little respect for themselves or their bodies and – even worse – no adults taking responsibility. On the other, we have a different kind of “respect”, the warped creed of a sub-section of unreconstructed, brutally over-parenting men. Their own daughters and young female relatives must not be violated or they will lose their market value, so why not take out your sexual frustration on the despised native slappers instead? It’s as simple as that.
It’s not just the Pakistani men who considered their prey to be beneath contempt. “I think the attitude of the local authorities for many years was that these chaotic girls were not held in very high regard,” explains Simon Danczuk, the MP for Rochdale, choosing his words carefully. “I don’t know if it’s political correctness, but the attitude was, ‘These are the life choices the girls are making’.”
Life choices? Dear God, they were raped for years. One girl left a letter for the staff at her children’s home saying she was being abused. It was ignored. So the poor kid wrote another. It was only when a teacher spotted that one pupil was pregnant and a suspicious number of Asian-looking men were picking her up at the school gate that the alarm was raised.
I spoke to Mr Danczuk yesterday, and he strenuously disputes claims that this is a one-off case, or even a recent phenomenon. The grooming of white girls by a small sub-section of the Pakistani community was being discussed in Blackburn council 15 years ago. Recently, the MP was outraged when male relatives of the accused in a similar child-sex case came to his constituency surgery to ask for support. “They spoke about white women in an exceptionally derogatory way. I nearly threw them out.”
While the majority of Asian men in Rochdale are “extremely respectful towards women”, Simon Danczuk laughs at the view of Keith Vaz that “this was not a race issue”. One can only marvel at the skill of the optician who continues to supply Mr Vaz, the chairman of the Commons’ home affairs committee, with spectacles of ever-rosier hue.
Mr Vaz warned yesterday that blaming a particular race or religion for grooming young girls for sex “risks opening up a Pandora’s box over race relations”. If he would only take off his goggles for a minute he might spot the National Front supporters strutting their rancid stuff outside the Liverpool courtroom. The intimidation of two Asian barristers to the point where, shockingly, they withdrew from the case suggests that the contents of Pandora’s box are swarming all over the place.
What a relief to hear Mohammed Shafiq, chief executive of the Ramadhan Foundation, a moderate Muslim youth group, accusing Pakistani community elders of “burying their heads in the sand” over this poisonous problem. He welcomes police intervention and insists that race is “central to the actions” of the criminals. “They think that white teenage girls are worthless and can be abused without a second thought; it is this sort of behaviour that is bringing shame on our community.”
By now, even the most trusting and generous-minded liberals must have woken up to the fact that our fear of being tarred as racist has allowed ugly practices and outmoded attitudes to flourish, hidden away behind a nervous respect for “difference”. Stymied by political correctness, social workers, carers, police, lawyers and council staff all failed to protect those young Rochdale girls.
They were victims twice over. First, of the despicable men who traded and abused them, and second, of our well-meaning, foolish and deadly desire to avoid the issue of race at any cost. They deserved better.
The entire day yesterday was spent chatting shite and trying to justify placing Crasbos on the defendants, all of whom did nothing more than defend themselves against an attack by an armed mob. They have to go back today to be sentenced. It looks like most, if not all of them are going to be jailed, and also slapped with a CRASBO banning them from protesting against ANYTHING for 5 years.
The message the authorities is giving us is clear here people, they simply will not allow peaceful protest, and will do all they can to smash us and shut us up while they ruin our country and give our jobs away to ungrateful foreigners. The right to peacefully protest is normally seen by the police as a “pressure valve” to allow people to vent their frustrations without resorting to violence or terror. Those who wish to silence us are taking that away. You take away peaceful protest and what is left?
Good luck today lads and lass NFSE
Zoe
A MASSIVE stitch up is occurring at Preston crown court tomorrow when 11 men and one woman appear on charges of racially aggravated threatening behaviour. The facts of the matter are that after peacefully protesting outside corrupt MEP Sajjid Karims house, they made their way to Brierfield to hand out leaflets and were attacked by 100 Muslim thugs armed with machetes, bats and golf clubs.
The head of NW CPS, being a personal pal of Karim, has it in for these defendants, after Karim lied about them threatening him at his home, which we can prove didnt happen with videos taken on the day. The CPS have done a deal for them all to plead guilty to lesser charges, and the Judge yesterday hinted that he is going to punish them severely, even though all they actually did was defend themselves from a massive attack. Police statements back up the fact that the 100 Muslims were armed, screaming racial comments at the EDL and police and one officer said “normally we would have arrested these people for public order offences but were aware that this would have made the situation worse”. Other officers commented “I was in real fear for mine and my colleagues safety” and “several of the asian youths were armed and shouting racial abuse”.
So they took the easy option, and arrested the whites. after discussions we have decided that should these 12 people be unfairly sentenced on Monday, we are going to demo in Brierfield, and the CPS offices/Court because we simply cannot sit back and allow these injustices to go on. 11 people were jailed at Carlisle, for minor public order offences, NOT involving violence, yet the Somali girls who nearly kicked Rhea Page to death in Leicester did not face jail.
They are jailing white people left right and centre, while allowing immigrants, and especially Muslims, to break the law and get away with it. The CCTV shows many Muslim youths carrying weapons and threatening violence, and we will be publishing stills of these after the case and asking why these people have not been arrested, or the subject of an appeal on Crimewatch. We will also publish parts of the statement weve referred to.
Good luck tomorrow all those in court, you are gonna need it.

And UAF and the rest of Britain’s scummy left wing support the MDL and stand with them on demos. Enough said. NFSE

Two men have been jailed for five years each after repeatedly raping a 17-year old girl in Rochdale last July.
Asylum seekers Mohammed Ali, who was believed to be 25 at the time of the incident but in court this week claimed that he was 18, and Alik Madi, who also claimed to be 18, were sentenced at Bolton Crown Court. Both men lived at the same house in Rathbone Street, Newbold.
The victim had been walking close to the Lidl supermarket on Spotland Road in the early hours of Saturday 5 July when the two men dragged her into some bushes and raped her several times.
The court heard how the girl had appealed to passers-by to call the police following the incident but her cries fell on deaf ears as a teenager on a bike, a man walking his dog and an employee at a petrol station on Whitworth Road all refused to help her.
The victim was walking home from a house party when the offenders followed her towards the Dunelm store at Townhead where they sexually assaulted her. The teenager managed to run away towards Spotland Road but the men caught up with her at Lidl and took turns to rape her.

If you look back through posts on this blog, Casuals United News Team (C.U.N.T) have highlighted many cases where white paedophiles have received pathetic sentences, those posts are all still on this blog. We have said many times that YES we know the majority of nonces in this country are white, that is obviously going to be the case in a country where the vast majority of people are white. That should be obvious to an idiot. But its not obvious to the left wingers that prowl the internet talking nonsense.
The reasons we highlight Muslim grooming gangs are simple. 1. Until recently the police, CPS , liberal media and our MPs were loath to talk about this problem, never mind address it. 2. In many recent cases, it has emerged that police knew about these gangs for a long time but did nothing, fearing a racial backlash. 3. The fact is, online gangs aside, most white nonces act alone and are aware that other people would be disgusted if they were found out, but these Muslim grooming gangs apparantly feel there is nothing wrong with it at all. In many cases they are ringing around inviting their friends/relatives to come round and get involved. This situation is unique to these people.
Can you imagine a friend ringing you saying “weve got some 12 yr old girls here we are raping them, come round and join in”? It wouldnt happen in most communities. So why does it happen in this one?
The lefties and other apologists on Question time blamed the victims. Typical left wingers. Blame anyone but not immigrants. Yes, its disgusting that these girls were out at night and their parents were probably pissed or drugged up and didnt care but they are still victims at the end of the day. Children being abused by adults. The perpetrators are so used to playing the race card that they accused the kids of being racist. The anonymous 59 yr old suspect said one of the victims was a “white supremacist” and even called the judge a racist. What he is saying there is “I am black HOW DARE you criticise me”. Im sure a “white supremacist” would not sleep with a few hundred immigrants just so she could then accuse them of rape.
Wake up and smell the perversion. Plenty more of these cases will be appearing at a court near you soon. I await the day a politician actually tells the truth about what is going on here.

Tommy went to a Muslim anti EDL meeting yesterday in a burkha. He sat at the back and listened as they slagged him out, then removed his binbag and told them “this is why we need to ban the burkha”. They had no idea it was him. This is the perfect way to move about the place undetected, and amazing for flash demos, as police would never stop anyone and ask them to lift their face covering. NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS. Imagine 100 lads moving into place somewhere like Bradford for a flash demo, all dressed in these? Just saying like. Becki

An Iraqi Muslim cleric suspected of being involved with Al Qaeda and radicalising young Britons has used the Human Rights Act to continue to live in the UK – despite Government efforts to deport him.
Taha Muhammad is regarded as one of Britain’s most dangerous security threats. He was even banned from studying AS-level chemistry because of fears he would use the knowledge to commit terrorist acts.
The decision to let him stay is another setback for Home Secretary Theresa May, already under pressure after attempts to deport Abu Qatada to Jordan descended into chaos.
Staying: Attempts to deport Abu Qatada descended into chaos
The Government is so concerned about Muhammad, 35, that for several years he was placed under round-the-clock surveillance, given a curfew and banned from preaching.
But Muhammad says he cannot be deported to Iraq because he could be detained and tortured there.
He argues sending him back would be a breach of Article 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
Judges at an immigration tribunal allowed him to stay even though the Home Office said they believed he:
Muhammad, who is understood to be living with his partner and three children in Birmingham, has now changed his name. An Iraqi Kurd, he managed to overturn a control order in 2010 and immigration judges said because of that, they had to conclude the allegations made by the Home Office were without foundation.
Muhammad also vowed to sue the Government over his treatment and is now poised to win a large compensation payout.
Setback: Home Secretary Theresa May is already under pressure after her failure to deport Abu Qatada
But Charlie Elphicke, Conservative MP for Dover and Deal, said: ‘This is yet another example of why we need a British Bill of Rights. How the European Convention has been applied doesn’t work for Britain’s policies on border security and national security.
‘It’s a real issue for me because my constituents complain that the European Convention and Human Rights Act is a villains’ and terrorists’ charter and the position is simply unacceptable and needs to be resolved.’
Muhammad arrived in Britain in 2002 and applied for asylum after claiming Saddam Hussein’s Ba’ath Party had accused him of being a member of the opposing Muslim Brotherhood, so had detained and tortured him.
The Home Office refused his application for asylum but he was granted exceptional leave to remain until March 2006.
While living as an imam and leading prayers at a mosque, he become one of MI5’s top terror suspects and in May 2006 was put under a control order.
The Government was so concerned about Muhammad that it made him the subject of a list of restrictions running to 15 pages.
Muhammad was given a curfew, limited to where he could go and banned from meeting a list of named individuals. He was also barred from attending his local mosque and leading prayers.
The Government also put a stop to his plans to study chemistry and human biology because it was thought he would use the knowledge gained to engage in terrorism.
Complain: MP Charlie Elphicke says Britain needs a Bill of Rights to protect its borders
Muhammad argues that he would be at renewed risk of detention and torture if he returned to Iraq because the authorities there would treat him as somebody linked to insurgency.
His wife, Amin Bayan Star, 22, and their children are also allowed to remain here after immigration judges concluded their removal would breach their rights to a private and family life under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
In a statement released through his solicitor, Muhammad said: ‘I have never done anything unlawful and I have been living a nightmare during the time I was subjected to the control order which was like living in a prison without bars.
‘Once the control order ended I believed my ordeal was at an end but the Home Office refused both my and my partners application for indefinite leave to remain and this threw my life and that of my family into turmoil and uncertainty again.
‘I hope and pray that the Home Office will leave me and my family alone.’
Control orders were introduced in March 2005 as a means of holding terror suspects who had not been charged or tried and where the evidence was largely sensitive and derived from intelligence sources.
In January of last year, following pressure from civil liberties campaigners, control orders were replaced with Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures, known as T-Pims, which have fewer controls but greater surveillance.
A Home Office spokesman said: ‘We take all necessary steps to protect the public from individuals we believe pose a threat and remove them from the UK.
‘But removal can be a challenging process and we have to operate within the law.’

THREE people charged after an inquiry into an alleged immigration scam have had their trial discontinued after 13 potential witnesses were deported.
The three people were charged following raids in September 2010 in Crawley and also at Clacket Lane services on the M25 in Surrey.
But the case against all three defendants collapsed on April 2 at Hove Crown Court after the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) decided there was no ‘realistic prospect’ of a conviction following the Judge ruling some evidence inadmissible.
More than 20 raids were carried out by police and the UK Border Agency (UKBA) at sites across Sussex, Surrey and Kent.
It was part of an eight month investigation into the suspected supply of illegal labour for an employment agency in Crawley.
One person was charged with assisting unlawful immigration, employing illegal immigrants and concealing criminal property and two others with assisting unlawful immigration.
The Judge in the trial, Judge Paul Tain criticised the UKBA for deporting the witnesses without considering the trial.
The UKBA said a thorough review was now underway.
A spokesman for the UK Border Agency said: “This operation successfully led to the arrest of 23 people who were working illegally in the UK.
“We worked with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) during the investigation to try and prosecute those we believed to be behind the illegal working.
“After the case was brought to court, the Judge ruled some of the evidence as inadmissible, which led to the CPS deciding that there was no longer a realistic prospect of a conviction and that the case should not proceed.
“Between April 2010 – March 2011, UK Border Agency successfully secured over 2,000 prosecutions targeting immigration crime so we were naturally disappointed with this judgement but we take on board what the judge has said and a thorough review is under way.”

Antifascists in Brighton are organising against ‘March for England’ – an outfit with close ties to the English Defence League that has announced a march in the city on Sunday 22 April.
MfE supporters and flags are regularly in evidence at demos organised by the racist and fascist thugs of the EDL.
Their Brighton event is also being backed by the EDL-linked racist football hooligan organisation Casuals United, which has told supporters not to wear ‘colours’ – EDL or Casuals clothing or insignia. They want to pretend their racist demo is just a St George’s day event.
Antifascists are determined to expose and oppose these racists. UAF supporters an other antifascists will meet on Queens Road, at the top of Gloucester Road at 11.30am on Sunday 22 April.
What a pile of shite. Just like last year there will be about 30 saddo’s, including a few in wheelchairs, shouting and screaming and throwing bottles at the parade. When they arent supporting terrorists or Muslim grooming gangs, UAF are attacking family events. Heres hoping they come unstuck like they have in previous years when members of the public have taken exception to their nonsense.

On Thursday 19th April, Mountford Hall is playing host to a live debate amongst all of the prospective candidates for Liverpool’s first directly elected mayor. This includes the three fascist candidates for the British National Party, English Democrats and National Front.
Liverpool Antifascists are calling for a demonstration at this event as a show of the city’s opposition to the divisive politics of racism and fascism.
There can be no doubt that Liverpool is suffering at the hands of the present government, wilfully enabled by the City Council. From austerity to workfare, class warfare is being waged against us on nearly every front, and Liverpool Antifascists is proud to say its members are fully involved in the various struggles against these policies.
However, the far-right have no answer to these attacks. Instead, they offer us division – telling us that different sections of the working class are to blame because of their ethnicity, religion or country of origin. Whilst the people of Liverpool wage a real fightback with strikes, pickets and demonstrations, all they can do is wave flags and point to scapegoats. National Front candidate Peter Tierney even wants us to whitewash this city’s history and heritage by abolishing the Slavery Museum!
We know where this kind of politics leads. The Liverpool Irish community saw it in February when a parade into the City Centre was turned back by a mob of fascists shouting “IRA scum.” In the City Centre, ethnic minority Big Issue sellers have been attacked with spray paint by racist thugs. In Childwall, only yesterday, a sign saying Welcome to Gatacre was graffitied with the slogan “n*ggers not wanted.” If the far-right get a foothold in these elections, such hate will only escalate.
Liverpool Antifascists call on all anti-racists and anti-fascists to join us outside the mayoral debates. Bring banners, flags and signs. Make your voice heard, and show the world that fascism is not welcome in this city.
