BREAKING NEWS: ‘Soldier beheaded with meat

cleaver’, then attackers are ‘shot by police’ in Woolwich

Incident: witnesses on the scene as two men are seen lying on the ground

A serving soldier was apparently hacked and beheaded by two attackers with a meat cleaver, who were then shot by armed police near the Woolwich Barracks. The young victim, wearing a Help for Heroes t-shirt was attacked “like a piece of meat” and dumped in the street, according to witness reports.

One witness, identified only as James, said he and his partner saw two black men attack the victim.

Fighting back tears, James said the men treated their victim as a “piece of meat” after he was dead.

“These two guys were crazed,” he told LBC radio station.

“They were hacking at this poor guy, literally chopping him, cutting him, like it was a piece of meat. We though they were trying to remove his organs or something.

“They dragged him from the pavement and dumped his body in the middle of the road and left his body there.”

Another witness said that police officers opened fire after the attack in John Wilson Street, near the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich.

Woolwich and Greenwich MP Nick Raynsford said it was his understanding that one person, a serving soldier, was dead and the two alleged suspects were in a serious condition in hospital.

He said he had spoken to both borough commander Richard Wood and Lieutenant Colonel Bob Christopher at Woolwich Barracks.

Mr Raynsford said: “The incident occurred early afternoon. One individual is dead, two others are seriously injured and in hospital.

“The circumstances causing the incident are not yet clear. It’s been suggested it was the product of a road traffic accident, but that’s pure speculation.

“I’ll be talking to everyone who is involved, we will be trying to do everything possible to try and ensure calm in the area. People will be very, very shocked.

“We think a serving soldier was the victim. We don’t know the circumstances surrounding the incident.

“We do know a number of weapons have been seized. They include a gun, various knives, and a machete, apparently.

“The police clearly had to take action in order to try and arrest these individuals.”

Pictures posted on Twitter appear to show two men lying on the road in Woolwich.

The air ambulance landed at the scene and paramedics treated victims in the street.

A London Air Ambulance spokeswoman said: “One patient, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Staff treated two other men, who have been taken to hospital.

“One of them is in a serious condition.”

David Dixon, the head of Mulgrave Primary School, told the BBC that he walked out of the school gates and saw a body lying in the street. “We shut all the gates and made sure all the children were inside,” he said.

Mr Dixon also confirmed hearing gunshots.

The Metropolitan police would only say officers had been called to reports of ‘an assault’ on John Wilson Street.

Wellington Street has been sealed off and an air ambulance has arrived on the scene.

John Wilson Street is currently shut in both directions between Artillery Place and New Ferry Approach.

Police probe at least 54 more evil child sex grooming gangs

19 May 2013 00:00

Officers are preparing to bust the biggest paedophile network ever seen in the country, with police set to swoop within days

Alamy

At least 54 evil child grooming gangs are being investigated by police.

It comes as officers in the North of England are preparing to bust the biggest paedophile network ever seen in the country, with police set to swoop within days.

Our disturbing figures can be revealed after reporters contacted every force across England and Wales, but the true number is likely to be much higher as many failed, or refused, to reply.

Child exploitation came into focus this week when seven paedophiles were convicted of sexually torturing girls as young as 11 in Oxford.

Thames Valley Police missed several opportunities to rescue the girls from the abuse over six years.

The same force has now revealed it is  investigating 14 more networks – with some gangs even using women to help groom the youngsters.

Chief constable Sara Thornton said: “We are looking at double figures for the number of suspects.”

She went on: “I think the vast majority are men but there are a couple of women who might have been facilitating exploitation.”

As a result of our inquiries, police chiefs admitted to at least 54 investigations.

Out of 43 forces in England and Wales, 31 responded to our request for information.

Sunday Mirror

Seventeen said they had ongoing probes, including Merseyside, which would only say it was investigating a “number” of grooming rings.

Three – Staffordshire, Norfolk and Humberside – refused to tell us how many investigations they had, and 12 did not get back to us.

At 14, Thames Valley has the largest number of probes, followed by six in Lancashire – where one of the worst paedophile gangs was caught in Rochdale last year.

Nottinghamshire and Greater Manchester said they were looking into five alleged sex cells each.

Steve Heywood, chief constable at Greater Manchester, admitted child exploitation was now the force’s “number one priority”.

The Met Police in London said its officers were probing four gangs.

Three probes are active in South Yorkshire, Northants and Suffolk.

There are two each in Surrey, Northumbria and West Yorkshire. South Wales, Kent, West Mercia, Devon and Cornwall and Cambridgeshire each have one investigation.

Staffordshire, Humberside and Norfolk would not say how many investigations they had.

West Midlands, Sussex, Wiltshire, North Yorkshire, Leicestershire, Hampshire, Avon and Somerset, Gloucestershire, Cheshire, Cleveland, Dorset and Dyfed Powys did not reply

There are no investigations in Derbyshire, Warwickshire, North Wales, Hertfordshire, Gwent, Cumbria, Durham, Gloucestershire, Lincolnshire, Bedfordshire, Essex.

The figures come as 10 men are preparing to stand trial this week accused of exploiting a girl over a four-year period in High Wycombe, Bucks.

All deny the charges.

Last month we revealed six men were held in Peterborough, Cambs, in a new case with potentially the biggest number of victims by one gang.

It is one in a worrying string of already known child sex cases.

Earlier this year seven men were charged in Newham, East London, for allegedly raping a vulnerable girl who was under 16.

And five men were charged with rape in Stockport, Greater Manchester, last year after a probe showed they had 39 potential victims.

‘Hounslow slasher’ who cut women with knives as they

walked home at night is sentenced to 18 years in prison

  • Sasha Masamba, 21, attacked two women with knives as they walked home
  • Left them with permanent scars around their face and neck
  • There was no motive to the attacks which terrorised women in London

'Hounslow slasher': Sasha Masamba, 21, attacked two women with knives as they walked home at night‘Hounslow slasher’: Sasha Masamba, 21, attacked two women with knives as they walked home at night

A man dubbed the ‘Hounslow slasher’ and described as a ‘every woman’s nightmare’ has today been given an 18-year sentence.

Sasha Masamba, 21, attacked two women with knives as they walked home at night, leaving them with permanent scars around their face and neck.

He was said to be particularly dangerous because there was no motive to the attacks which terrorised women in suburban streets in west London.

Masamba, of Hounslow, west London, pleaded guilty to two offences of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He was jailed at the Old Bailey for 18 years – four of them to be served on licence.

The Recorder of London, Judge Brian Barker, said: ‘This is a most disturbing case.

‘Noticeably, there was no request for money or sexual intent. The deep concern is a lack of any rational explanation for these acts.

‘The victims could easily have died because the knife wounds were near arteries.’

The Old Bailey heard that, over 10 days in August last year, Masamba prowled the area around Hounslow station and on two occasions slashed women late at night.

Bobbie Cheema, QC, prosecuting, told the court: ‘This defendant is every woman’s nightmare – a man who arms himself with a knife and then prowls around late at night waiting for a lone female to attack.

Caught: He was arrested at Hounslow station by new recruit Pc Rebecca Skinner on August 21 after she recognised his CCTV image which had been released to the mediaCaught: He was arrested at Hounslow station by new recruit Pc Rebecca Skinner on August 21 after she recognised his CCTV image which had been released to the media

‘He targeted, followed and then assaulted the innocent women walking home from public transport.’
She said the women were attacked from behind. In one case, Masamba had been prowling around for three hours looking for a victim.

The first attack was on university student Miss Zablocka, 19, who had only been in Britain for two weeks.

She was walking home from the station just before midnight after spending the evening with friends in the West End.

The man grabbed her throat and then said: ‘Sorry, I am only joking.’

She did not realise she had been cut but after he made off she felt dizzy and fell to her knees.

Miss Zablocka was taken to hospital and had seven stitches to a 3cm wound. She also had a continuous cut stretching round her neck.

‘I want to bite your ears off, pluck your eyes with chopsticks, cut your limbs with a breadknife and feed your insides to sever rats.’

Masamba on his Facebook page

On August 17, Masamba attacked waitress Miss Aurelio as she was heading home from work in central London. He approached her from behind and she saw a breadknife as he slashed her across the chin.

Miss Cheema said she put up a fierce fight during which Masamba tried to stab her twice in the stomach. The knife was later found in a nearby street and had DNA from attacker and victim.

She was said to be awaiting plastic surgery for a 5cm scar on her face.

Both women were said to have been traumatised by the attacks and are afraid of going out alone at night.

Miss Cheema said a couple of days later, Masamba posted threats on his Facebook page.

They said: ‘I want to bite your ears off, pluck your eyes with chopsticks, cut your limbs with a breadknife and feed your insides to sever rats.’

Masamba was said to have written to the judge saying he hated himself for what he had done.

He was arrested at Hounslow station by new recruit Pc Rebecca Skinner on August 21 after she recognised his CCTV image which had been released to the media.

His not-guilty pleas to the attempted murders of Kaja Zablocka, 19, on August 7 and Deserilyn Aurelio, 26, 10 days later were accepted.

DCI Amanda Hargreaves said outside court: ‘This lengthy sentence reflects the nature of the offences.

‘I have lost my confidence and avoid being outside alone at night’

Masamba’s victim

‘Masamba was caught before he potentially killed someone, which I believe was only a matter of time.’

Later, police released a statement from Miss Aurelio in which she said: ‘The night I was attacked it just felt like a small cut to my chin at first, but the next day I realised how serious it was and became more and more scared.

‘I have lost my confidence and avoid being outside alone at night.

‘I have an awful scar on my face, it is very visible on my chin, this is a constant reminder of the attack and how close I came to being killed.

‘I am still waiting for plastic surgery on the scar so I can then hopefully begin to look at myself as normal again.

‘I am still very self-conscious of the scar. People stare at it and often ask what happened. This always upsets me as it reminds me of that horrible night.’

Hyde race attack thug could be released early #edl #twotier #ukip

31 03 2013

The yob who did this was jailed for two years… and he could be out after 14 weeks

30 Mar 2013 09:04

Daniel Stringer-Prince and his family have blasted the justice system after they got the news of Ali Haydor’s early parole application

Daniel Stringer-Prince sustained sickening injuries, including a fractured skull and fractured eye sockets

Daniel Stringer-Prince sustained sickening injuries, including a fractured skull and fractured eye sockets

A thug who brutally attacked a teenage student could be released from prison after spending just 14 weeks of a two-year sentence behind bars.

Daniel Stringer-Prince and his family have angrily criticised the justice system after they were told that Ali Haydor has applied for early parole.

Haydor, 22, led a gang attack which left trainee baker Daniel with sickening injuries, including a fractured skull and fractured eye sockets.

He was punched at least twice by Haydor, before others repeatedly kicked and punched him.

Takeaway worker Haydor, of Croft Street, Hyde, pleaded guilty to assault and was jailed for two years in December.

But he has now applied to the Parole Board to be released on an electronic tag – and could be freed as early as April.

Daniel, from Woodley, Stockport, said the development was an insult to him and his family. He said: “He should serve the full entitlement that he was ordered to serve – but 14 weeks is nothing. I feel it is a bit of an insult for the damage he’s done.”

Daniel’s angry mother Cheryl, 46, added: “Daniel has got a life sentence and he spends just 14 weeks inside. It’s a joke. The whole system is wrong.”

Daniel’s mother, Cheryl, with Daniel, who had to have his right cheek rebuilt with a metal plate

Daniel, who is studying baking at Tameside College, and a friend were set upon by a group of Asian youths in Hyde town centre in February last year.

Surgeons had to rebuild his right cheek with a metal plate and he faced an anxious wait to discover if his eyesight would return. Two new eye sockets were constructed, but one is now sinking back into his skull and he could need further surgery.

If Haydor’s application is successful, a letter from the National Probation Service  reveals he would be subjected to exclusion zones, ‘no contact’ conditions and be electronically-monitored while on a curfew with an ankle tag.

The family has written to the probation service to voice their objections.

The Ministry of Justice could not be contacted for comment.

#Birmingham Jihad plotters jailed. Whats the betting Anjem Choudrey grassed them up? #edl

21 02 2013

See my theory about Anjem Choudrey is this. He swans about claiming £25k a year in benefits while hes clearly fit to work. If hes fit to travel the country spreading hatred then hes obviously fit to stack shelves in Tesco. The amount of times hes been outed by the media and yet he still gets his benefits. The amount of times he has been caught promoting hatred and glorifying terrorism and yet only once has he ever had his house raided and that was when the police had a panic attack because he had threatened to disrupt Armistice Day (again) and police knew hundreds of us were going there. So they raided him and banned his group (again) the night before.

See he travels all over the place and its a good bet that most, if not all of the various groups of would be half baked Jihadi wannabees who have been arrested over the years have had contact with Anjem. Now my theory is that he is an MI5 asset i.e. he is paid by the Security Services and has a dual purpose. On the one hand he serves as an “Islamic Bogeyman” spreading his message of hate and justifying the pointless wars we keep launching on Muslim countries and also every now and again he hands over some of his fellow Jihadis for arrest which as well as getting them off the streets, also keeps the Islamic bomb attack threat fresh in the British Public (aka the Sheep)s minds, helping said sheep feel that us constantly sending British lads to foreign hellholes is worthwhile because they think we are at imminent risk of an attack here. These wars are big business and some companies are making a fortune on arms sales and the same companies then get the building contracts to rebuild the smashed countries.

I reckon MI5 are paying him and making sure his benefits claim stays unaffected in return for his services. After all during the Northern Ireland hostilities MI5 had agents on both sides of the conflict and have almost certainly been responsible for the internal conflict in the EDL and various lefty groups over the last few years. Its what they do. They disrupt any group that is a threat and are answerable to nobody.

Anjem Choudrey is both a paid Bogeyman and a grass. It all adds up.

Three men who planned to become suicide bombers and aspired to eclipse the 7 July and 9/11 atrocities have been found guilty of terrorism charges.

Irfan Naseer, 31, Irfan Khalid, 27, and Ashik Ali, 27, from Birmingham, were found guilty at Woolwich Crown Court of being “central figures” in the plot.

Jurors were told they planned to set off up to eight bombs in rucksacks and possibly detonate bombs on timers.

Police described the men as “committed, passionate extremists”.

The trio were arrested in 2011 amid fears their plans were accelerating.

Detectives believe it was the most significant terror plot to be uncovered since the 2006 conspiracy to blow up transatlantic airliners using bombs disguised as soft drinks.

Khalid even boasted that the attack was “another 9/11″ as “revenge for everything”.

More 5 year demo bans handed out today #edl #bradford

15 01 2013

The lads that were jailed today in Leeds have also been given 5 year demo bans. These have only ever been given to EDL members. Police say they have introduced them to stop people from hijacking peaceful protests. How come then not one left wing rioter has ever been given one? The gimp who threw a fire extinguisher from a tower block didn’t get one, nor did any of the persistent  Anarchist scum at Dale Farm. No, the “pc” mugs who infest the CPS and top levels of the police force have devised this just for the EDL. How democratic of them. The Judge in one case said he had “grave concerns of the legality of hampering someones democratic right to protest”. But after a quiet word he handed them out anyway. He knew working class lads don’t have the money to fight this through the European Courts. Its a disgusting abuse of power. Simple as that.

Extremist targets students with ‘discount

retreat’

An extremist preacher is offering half-price tickets to Muslim students across the United Kingdom to a ‘retreat’ at which he is due to lecture

by The Commentator on 4 January 2013 10:45

Haitham-al-haddad-620x300

An extremist preacher who runs a Sharia divorce court in London and  supports the death penalty for apostates continues to be promoted to university students in Britain, with discount ticket prices offered to members of university Islamic societies.

Haitham Al-Haddad, in a recent interview in Norway, stated that “I agree with you that for a non-Muslim who doesn’t understand how the penal code or capital punishment against apostates can be applied, or can make sense from your angle but from my angle it does make perfect sense”. Haddad is regularly promoted to students via his retreat company Sabeel.

His intolerant views also include support for the stoning of adulterers, though he clarified that he does not believe that this should apply in European countries. In July 2012 he wrote in his online magazine ‘Islam21C’ that society should stand up to “the scourge of homosexuality” as it was a “criminal act” that must be opposed.

As well as this, he has been filmed defending the Islamist terrorist group Hamas, and has claimed that they are opposed in the West because “there is a high level of enmity and hatred against Hamas as a Muslim group”.

Counter-extremism group Student Rights found that Sabeel has been specifically targeting students via Facebook, offering them discounts to attend a retreat entitled ‘Delving into the Divine’ and stating that Haddad had requested that all Islamic society leaders at universities should attend the event.

Sabeel also stressed to readers earlier in the month that “Shaykh Haitham said that out of the 9 Retreats of the 3 year Sabeel Retreats Programme. The most important retreat is this one”, again utilising Haddad’s ‘credentials’ to promote sales.

A police state – Brought to you courtesy of Britain’s left wing fools #edl #uaf

A police state created by anti-fascists

In their enthusiasm to clamp down on ‘hate speech’, anti-fascists have become an unofficial arm of the state.

tweet

Given that the key thing about twentieth-century fascism was its extreme authoritarianism, you might reasonably expect those who describe themselves as ‘anti-fascist’ to be anti-authoritarian. You might imagine that these campaigners, more than most, would know the dangers of giving the state too much power and trusting it to determine who may speak and who may not, who is a ‘decent’ person and who is not.

But you would be wrong – certainly if the events in the north-east London district of Walthamstow this weekend were anything to go by. There, anti-fascists campaigning against a protest planned for Saturday by the right-wing, allegedly fascistic English Defence League (EDL) demonstrated that they are uncritically pro-state, and unabashedly pro-authoritarian, trusting the powers-that-be to police public protest and political discourse more broadly.

The modern anti-fascist left has provided plenty of justification for increased state control over political to and fro in modern Britain. It has strengthened the use of public-order laws over political freedom, and it has empowered the state to govern all forms of political speech. That control extends not just to the statements and actions of ‘fascist’ groups, but also to the statements and actions of left-wing groups and anti-fascists, too.

So for the next 30 days, any group – regardless of its grievance – is banned from marching in Walthamstow and the rest of the borough of Waltham Forest and in the nearby boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Newham and Islington. This blanket ban is directly down to the campaigning efforts of left-wing anti-fascist protesters, who have spent the past month taking to the streets to get people to join local Labour MP Stella Creasy in signing a petition to ban the EDL from entering Walthamstow. The successful campaign for a ban was celebrated by Creasy who, ironically, claimed it meant‘our community can get back to its normal, peaceful and tolerant state’.

In truth, Walthamstow on Saturday resembled a police state. Hundreds of police officers monitored public transport, roads and thoroughfares, looking suspiciously at anyone who walked past. Random searches of individuals and cars were carried out, which led to three arrests of individuals, not because they were EDL members, but for things like drug possession and driving while disqualified. Many more officers waited in the wings as mobile surveillance-cameras checked the town for anyone who dared take to the streets to express their political views.

Police line up on a Walthamstow shopping street.

While the UK Home Office cannot ban ‘static demonstrations’, the Metropolitan Police used section 14 of the Public Order Act 1986 to ban any EDL event from taking place in London, with the exception of a one-hour rally outside the Houses of Parliament. The anti-fascist protesters were permitted to have a demonstration in Walthamstow, however, and they duly decided to hold a ‘victory rally’ celebrating the fact that they had successfully kept the EDL from marching. Censorious Creasy was cheered by the anti-fascists when she took to the stage.

In what bizarre world is this a victory? In lobbying for the state to ban the EDL, anti-fascist protesters managed to have their own freedom to protest restricted as well. The fact that their own civil liberties would also be affected must have come as no surprise to many of these anti-fascist protesters, given that they were banned from marching in Tower Hamlets last year, too. Some socialist groups, however, did saw it as‘scandalous’ that they were banned from marching. They began chanting ‘Whose streets? Our streets!’, complaining that their human rights were being breached.

article continues after advertisement

So it’s fine to ban the EDL from marching, but not the EDL’s left-wing opponents? Apparently, human rights should not extend to those with the Wrong Views – or perhaps anti-fascists think EDL members aren’t human. It was as if these naive protesters were complaining that the home secretary, Theresa May, couldn’t see who the good guys were.

Given the extent of collaboration between the anti-fascist left and the police, you can see why they might have been miffed. On Saturday, anti-fascist groups such as Hope Not Hate monitored the borough on behalf of the police to ensure no one that even looked like an EDL supporter was allowed into the borough. Searchlight magazine reported seeing ‘six to eight thuggish EDL types wandering around’, who were told they were not welcome. Others took to Twitter to encourage their followers to report to the police any EDL members seen entering the borough. As one anti-fascist Twitterer put it: ‘So glad the #EDL are denied access to #Walthamstow today. We are on EDL watch, [so if EDL members are] seen today anywhere in “Stow”, please let the police know.’

In the name of anti-racism, left-wing groups gave the green light to authoritarianism.

That anti-fascists now take it upon themselves to ensure the law is being enforced, shows the extent to which the left have become an unofficial arm of the state. They have become squealers, the state’s eyes and ears, cheering on the state to intervene.

Surely anyone with an anti-authoritarian bone in their body would be chilled by the state’s clampdown on free expression in huge swathes of London over the next month. These so-called ‘anti-fascists’ are so untroubled by it, they are holding ‘victory rallies’ instead. What’s anti-fascist about that?

Whatever happened to free speech? Reblogged by Zoe (Thanks to Esme) #edl #evf #mfe #uaf

28 10 2012

Saturday, 27 October 2012

Readers will remember the appalling way the EDL were treated while exercising our democratic freedom to meet and protest in Walthamstow last month.  Today was set as the return to Walthamstow.

However last week Tommy Robinson and 53 men were arrested on the outskirts of London. Kev Carroll was arrested in Luton. Tommy Robinson remains in custody until after Christmas on charges concerning irregularities to the passport he used to visit the US for the commemoration of 11/9 last month. The other men are charged with conspiracy to cause a breach of the peace and allowed bail, on condition they do not enter East London. Paul Weston, leader of the British Freedom Party who was arrested for potentially causing a breach of the peace wile attempting to visit Tommy in prison has been released without charge.

Next the Home Seecretary Teresa May set a ban on all marches in four London boroughs for 30 days. Those boroughs were Waltham Forest, in order to prevent today’s proposed march, Islington, just in case anyone approached the Finsbury Park Mosque, Tower Hamlets, lest anyone contemplate a demonstration at the East London Mosque, and Newham (site of the proposed Megagmosque). According to the notice on WalthamForest’s website this order prevented ALL marches, except funeral processions and those commonly or customarily held in the area, which would cover something like the local Scouts annual St George’s Day parade. The Home Secretary does not have power to ban static demonstrations. However the Assistant Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police issued an order under S14 of the Public Order Act 1986 banning any EDL event in London, other than a permitted rally outside the Houses of Parliament between 1pm and 2pm. One hour only, only in that spot. I was not served with S14 a notice but a man known to me has given me his copy which is below.

The UAF and their subsidiary organisation We Are Waltham Forest decided not to cancel their demo but to hold it as a “Victory Rally” As a former resident of Walthamstow who retains family connections I always had business there this weekend and decided I would lawfully go about it this morning. There was a strong police presence at all the transport hubs and railway stations. At Walthamstow Central Station UAF stewards were exhibiting their banners and attempting to sell their newspapers.

WF council had decided to hold a Family Fun Day to celebrate ‘diversity’ and ‘United, Strong, Together’ which I thought sounded rather newspeak. They hired a funfair which set up on the Arcade Site, rather later than advertised. On the Town Square there were marquees with table tennis and table football. Also stilt walkers, balloons and a man with bubbles to entertain the children. In the foreground officials of the PCS union gather.

All rides were free – dodgems, roundabouts, whirlimagigs. This is the festival of Eid of course. I’m no longer a council tax payer!

I noticed that the UAF rally was forming up in Hoe Street in the road. The police halted the traffic of the main road through Walthamstow from 11am and diverted buses, cars and an ambulance up narrow Church Hill.

As well as the UAF and the SWP and the Socialist Party there were supporters of other causes including, Tamils and Palestinians.

The MP for Walthamstow Stella Creasy (Labour Co-op) was in attendance with a senior Police officer, ostensibly ‘observing’. I don’t know who the young man on the left is.

Speakers were taking their turn from the back of a lorry hired for the purpose. A police line stopped futher movement towards Bell Corner.

They had rather over catered for attendees with more placards than you could shake a stick at lying in heaps on the pavement. This young woman couldn’t get any takers.

“Banner madam?”
“Come to our demo and protest?”
“If you have not got time now, join us on the march afterwards”

I thought she had it wrong about a march – all marches being banned by order of the Home Secretary. A few minutes later on the other side of the road one of her comrades had even less luck.
“What this lot on about this time? Oh f**k ‘em”.

As I walked about between the rally the family day and the market I caught other snatches of conversation. One young Muslim man was explaining to another that “It was if they showed that film, that film, they can’t show that film . . . !” referring to the trailer for the film Innocence of Muslims which the EDL had contemplated showing during the intended demo today.

One man saw a trading opportunity for his rainbow whistles and a chance to demonstrate. Do neither of them realise that under the sharia state which so many Muslims want the one on the right would be a slave and the left would be thrown off a mountain, or as Walthamstow only has hills, crushed under a wall?

Other traders in the market carried on as normal.

Most of the speakers that I heard were saying the same things – What a contrast to the 1st September when we had racists in our borough – the EDL is finished – smash racism – we love our diversity, etc. I couldn’t see Martin Smith or Weyman Bennet this time but I noticed that Stella Creasy was now ‘observing’ from a vantage point on the podium. Below she is talking to (I think) Sophie Bolt of WAWF, CND, and Hackney, hugs and kisses all round and it’s her turn to wear the comedy dead beaver hat which was being passed round.

The speaker having the bad hair day is Jean Lambert MEP, of the Green party, a former Walthamstow teacher. She is declaring that Waltham Forest does not need defending from the forces of Islam, thank you very much EDL, as WF is strong in its diversity.

Down at Walthamstow High Street I asked a policeman when the roads would be clear. About 3pm he thought. He said that the march (what march???!!!) was scheduled to move off at 2pm towards Bell Corner to the Town Hall. I was astounded. I didn’t want to wait until 2pm so decided to see what was happening at the Met Police approved demo in Westminster as that had a very short time span and was due to start shortly.

I arrived at Old Palace Gardens after it had started, just in time to see a small but aggressive contingent of UAF/students being led away by police. My title comes from the slogan on the back of the jumper of the man in the middle of this picture. It isn’t clear at that distance but it says “Whatever happened to Free Speech?”

Divisions had come from Newcastle and the Midlands and I was pleased to later meet up with friends from March for England.  The chant was “We want our Tommy back”. The black flag of jihad was burnt. The Telegraph has some video here.

In the background the Houses of Parliament and the stature of Richard the Lionheart. At 1.55 by my watch the police opened the barriers and escorted the demonstrators our of the area. Some of us met for a drink in St Stephen’s Tavern.

The Waltham Forest Guardian confirms that the march ban was defied. On the UAF website yesterday, declaring todays event the “Victory Rally”  Martin Smith said that the leftists were to ignore the ‘impossible to impose’ ban on marching. The list of speakers is here. Creasy is confirmed as speaking along with the rest of the usual subjects.

I can understand the legal difference whereby a S14 order can be imposed by the police on one event, but not another. It is discrimination, as my mother used to put it ‘making fish of one and fowl of the other’. It is objectionable. I think it was wrong. But I understand the law behind it.

I do not understand elected representatives and the Metropolitan Police facilitating a political march in the face of a ban on all marches in that borough put in place by the Home Secretary, while banning the march of another political group.

This is a breach of our right to free speech, free protest and free movement. This confirms the corruption in high places and that the traitors in authority will brook no dissent, allow no challenge. Now we truly know where we stand.

Puller’s version of today #edl

27 10 2012

So, I’m late driving back from Hogwarts University in Egham so I convince the wife it’s better to drive through London than the M25 just so I can pass out demo. As we roll past it’s kicking off, I’m shouting I want to stop the motor, she’s moaning about having to drive through London she wins. I get to Canning Town can’t take any more get out of the motor give her the keys and jump the tube. Get out at Westminster to see the St Stephens tavern surrounded by OB. Cut a long story short, watch Mickey Baylis nonchalantly ignoring 40 Commies following him down the road (excellent ), meet Bexley have beer go back to station fund trains are f@cked now stuck in boozer at mansion house wondering of my dinners in the dog. Oh the life of a patriot….

Well said Mark #edl #evf #uaf #walthamstow

Commies in Walthamstow say they are going to march #edl

27 10 2012

They are handing out leaflets and saying “join us on our march”. So are the MET going to allow a violent left wing group to march while banning patriots? Updates as we get them.

Reports from the ground in London #edl #uaf #walthamstow

27 10 2012

Reports from the girls so far. Massive amounts of police at all main stations searching any lads they suspect may be EDL. Millwall are at home so Casuals are everywhere. Confusion is reigning as police dont know who is who. At Walthamstow a lot of people are milling around, the usual Commie social worker types and plenty of immigrants. Lot of police also. The MET spare no expense when defending forced multiculturalism on the British people. More as we get it and photos later. NFSE

UPDATE

Police handing out Section 14s at Clapham. Suzy is in Hoe Street says around 250 Commies/Immigrants

RIP Democracy as police ban lawful protest in #Walthamstow #edl but dont ban violent Communists

25 10 2012

Martin Smith however, is still trying to whip up a riot with lies and propaganda. The ban is only on EDL and associated groups so doesn’t ban violent left wing outfits like UAF. He knows full well that any of our lads turning up would be arrested, but he wants people to think we will, why? He wants trouble is why. If you are going to ban one group, ban them all. #lesson1

Letter to Theresa May

The letter Waltham Forest Council has sent to Theresa May, Home Secretary, about EDL’s planned march in the borough on 27 October.

15 September 2012

Rt Hon Theresa May
Home Secretary
Peel Building
2 Marsham Street
London SW1P 4DF

Our comments in bold (Zoe)

Dear Mrs May

Waltham Forest’s diverse community is once again being outrageously targeted by the far-right English Defence League as they propose to march on the 27 October, just weeks after their previous demonstration in the area.

Whilst we agree that everyone has the right to protest, (obviously you do NOT) this latest stand by people with no connection to our borough is an abuse of this right. We feel very strongly that the EDL are harassing our community and that we need action from Government.

Following the public disorder that ensued on 1 September there is an overwhelming risk that a second march will erupt into violence. Knowingly putting our borough’s residents in harms way is not an option and I will do everything in my power to ensure that the EDL are not able to spout their words of hatred in this borough.

The disorder last time was all done by SWP agitators and local residents

At a time when public sector spending is being reduced and frontline police officers are stretched, it is unimaginable that a second march should be allowed less than 60 days after the first.

If the MET had stuck to what they agreed last time we would not be coming back

Even more disturbing is the suggestion that the EDL may be planning a ‘flash mob’ type protest which would expose our residents to even greater risk. Our community is one where people from all sorts of backgrounds get on well with each other, and our residents are bewildered by this onslaught. We need to understand what the Government is doing to protect the ordinary tax paying residents of our borough.

Flash mob? You made that bit up didnt you?

We called for a ban on the last march, but also encouraged residents to stay away from any counter protest. We refuse to do this again and will instead be calling on our whole community to come out and show everything that is great about the tolerant and diverse community who live here.

Because you want there to be trouble which you can blame on the EDL

The EDL marches in Telford, Tower Hamlets and Luton were banned and our residents deserve the same protection

A march can be banned, but a static demo cannot. We were banned from marching at Tower Hamlets but still ended up being marched across Tower Bridge as we have to get from A to B.You have failed my Communist friend. That is all. See you on 27th xxxx Zoe

I would like to meet with you urgently to discuss this issue and I will ask my office to contact yours in the coming days.

Yours sincerely
Chris Robbins
Leader of Waltham Forest Council

First response from the MET re #Walthamstow #edl #evf #nwi

13 09 2012

This is basically a standard fob off letter. It basically states that this is not a complaint about the conduct of an officer, but relates to a decision made by a Commander so they wont deal with it via ordinary complaint procedure. A letter will follow from the Public Order branch which will also be a standard fob off letter, that is only to be expected. The MET are used to ignoring the law and breaching human rights at many demos, and they are also used to getting away with it. They wont roll over and admit they did wrong and they wont give compensation easily either. Once we get the letter from them several of us are going to sue, watch this space for details of how to do it and what to say on the court papers. Dont get mad, get justice. NFSE
