People in this Council and Social Services Dept deliberately turned a blind eye to the mass grooming of children as far back as 2008 as they were scared of being called “racist”. They put their political correctness and love of “diversity” before the safety of children and allowed rapists to carry on unhindered. Those responsible need to be named and shamed, sacked and arrested. If you think we will accept anything less then you are wrong. Of course we dont want to know the victims details but we want those who failed these girls offered up to pay for what they have done. our demo still stands for Sept 22nd and other groups are considering actions also.

Rochdale social services ‘will not hide any findings’ from sex gang probe
As much detail as possible’ will be made public following the completion of a probe into how social services dealt with victims of the Rochdale sex gang, town hall bosses say.
Rochdale council will publish a summary of the inquiry into the child sexual exploitation scandal in the autumn.
Bosses say it will not hide any of the report’s findings, but some information will be omitted to protect the identity of victims and witnesses.
The news comes after MP Simon Danczuk called for a ‘warts and all report of what went wrong’ after nine men were jailed for 77 years for sexually exploiting girls in Rochdale and Heywood.
But Rochdale council chief executive Jim Taylor said the full report would contain too much sensitive information to publish in its entirety. He added: “We are undertaking the review as we want to know what happened.
“The council has already said publicly that we should have offered more support and all agencies, including the council, have said in hindsight that they could have intervened earlier when cases of concern were brought to their attention.
“This review is looking in detail at where things went wrong and all cases of child exploitation referred to the council are being reviewed to evaluate whether the improved procedures which are already in place are effective enough.
“The report hasn’t been written yet but please be assured we will be publishing as much detail as we can.
“I trust people will understand that to protect the confidentiality of victims and witnesses there will be sensitive case material which has to remain confidential, which we have a legal obligation to do.”
The council review, which is separate to a Learning Event review currently being worked on by Rochdale’s Safeguarding Children’s Board, is looking at how the authority dealt with allegations of sexual abuse.
During the court case it emerged that some victims reported they were being abused as early as 2008, but no action was taken against the perpetrators until 2010.
The council says it is reviewing a decade’s worth of notes to see if early warning signs were ignored.
Its report will look at social care, community cohesion, child care records, case management systems and quality assurance.
It will also look how different departments communicated and shared information.
