The FA are a joke outfit, always have been, and always will be if the current crop of rich clowns at the helm are anything to go by. The FA disgraced themselves when they took a football decision away from the incumbant manager (Fabio Capello at the time) out of the manager’s hands and stripped John Terry of the captaincy just months before the Euro 2012 tournament was due to begin, purely because Terry stood accused (but not convicted) of racism charges.
Now the man has been cleared of all charges rather than respect the court’s findings the FA now intend on charging the players involved with flinging insults at each other in the heat of battle. (GASP) Insulting opposition players. Whatever next. So by the same token we should see tribunals and prosecutions held against virtually every single game played in the Football League of England & Wales for 2011/12.
