BRISTOL Anti-Fascists are calling for mass opposition to the English Defence League march.
Their appeal comes as concern about the march on July 14 continues to grow.

English Defence League march in Leicester
The BAF say thousands of people are expected to turn out to tell the EDL they are not welcome in Bristol.
Bristol Anti-Fascist member Brian Kemp, 41, of Easton, said “The EDL claim that they are a peaceful group simply exercising their right to protest.
“Obviously they would say that but a bit of research into their previous demonstrations and a look at some of their websites shows that many people they attract are deeply racist and homophobic.
“If the English Defence League are allowed to march unopposed they will believe either that most people agree with them or that those who oppose them are too afraid to stand up to their bigotry and violence.”
The BAF say Mickey Bayliss, who is organising the EDL demonstration in Bristol, claims the organisation is not racist but he was photographed at a recent demonstration giving a Nazi salute.
Its not Mickey in the photo and well they know it
They also point out that a number of EDL members have been prosecuted for race crimes and violence.
There is no official membership so anyone can call themselves EDL
Pat Smith, spokesperson for Bristol Anti-Fascists, said the EDL were violent racists and fascists trying to portray themselves as respectable until they get enough support to carry out their disgusting behaviour without being stopped.
If you say so comrade
