Perhaps its time to rethink tactics for future activities. On reflection maybe it would have wiser for the organisers not to have gone ahead with the march and opted for a static rally at the start point. The strength of opposition in Brighton was overwhelming and well organised and they were able to attack and humiliate MFE supporters. They could not have done this without the fixed route march going ahead. ANTIFA are gloating on Indymedia ‘This is what effective anti-fascism looks like’ over their success on Sunday and threaten to do the same in Bristol in July. We have outsmarted and defeated them previously. Adjustment of tactics based on gathered intelligence is crucial. We can’t give these street thugs anymore easy victories.
